TorchPrep Classroom Instructor

LOCATIONS:

We conduct courses at schools in the following regions (candidates open to paid travel will gain preference):

Northern Cincinnati/Dayton, Ohio
Northern Kentucky
Cincinnati
Central Kentucky
Eastern Kentucky

SCHEDULE:

It’s unique: Most instructors work 2-5 days per week between January 15 and March 31, and 2-5 days per week September through November. This schedule is great for those who want to have lots of time to travel in the Summer! 

PAY:
 Skill-based: $40-$70/hour (up to $550 per day)

INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS:
GREAT public speaker (or willing to work hard on it)
Sense of Humor
Tech Savvy (Google Forms, Gmail, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
Excel in high school math (or willing to work hard on it)
Energetic
Comfortable and experienced in leading large groups of high school students
High standardized test scores (or willing to work on it)

Who we DO want:
Those who are excited about impacting high school students’ lives and challenging them to take a creative approach to their collegiate pursuits

Who we DON’T want:
Those who are better at the ACT® than interacting with people
People with ZERO experience working with high school kids
